The airport
Split Airport is not in Split but in Kaštela, on the far side of Kaštela Bay, and its land runs into Trogir — Trogir is much closer than Split itself. The terminal was greatly enlarged in 2019, and all arrivals, domestic and international, come through the new part, where baggage reclaim is. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name. Parking, the bus station and car hire are across the main road, reached by an enclosed footbridge.
- Summer weekends are the busiest time by far, with more than 200 flights a day in peak season. Expect queues and a full arrivals hall on Saturdays in July and August.
- The airport is between Split and Trogir, so for Trogir and Čiovo you turn west and avoid Split traffic altogether.
- Cars cannot enter Diocletian's Palace or drive along the Riva. If you are staying in the old town, give the driver the name of your accommodation so they can stop at the nearest point a car can reach.

Where do I meet the driver at Split Airport?

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
