The airport
Athens International Airport opened in 2001 at Spata, about 20 km east of central Athens, and is reached from the city by the Attiki Odos, a toll motorway. It has a main terminal and a satellite terminal linked to it by an underground passage, but every arriving flight comes out on the same floor: the arrivals level, Level 0 of the main terminal building. Your driver waits for you in the arrivals hall with your name.
- Flights from outside the Schengen area come out in Area A, between Exits 1 and 2; Schengen and domestic flights come out in Area B, between Exits 4 and 5. Tell us where you are flying in from.
- Once you leave the baggage reclaim area you cannot go back in. Check you have everything before you walk out.
- Cars are not allowed to park in front of the main terminal, so the meeting point is inside, in the arrivals hall, not at the kerb.
- Piraeus is not the only ferry port. Rafina is much closer to the airport, with ferries to Andros, Tinos and Mykonos all year. Check which port your ferry ticket gives.

Where do I meet the driver at Athens Airport?
In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.
What happens if my flight is late?
We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. One price covers everyone in it, up to the seats of the vehicle you choose.
Which car will I get?

These are examples: we do not guarantee a particular make or model, but we do guarantee enough seats and enough space for normal luggage.
How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
