The airport
Tivat Airport is on the southern edge of Tivat, on the flat land by the Bay of Kotor, with the Adriatic Highway running past the terminal. There is one passenger terminal, extended in 2018, which still gets crowded in summer. Most of its traffic comes between May and September, and the approach between the mountains is one of the more demanding in Europe. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name.
- The Adriatic Highway between Tivat, Kotor and Budva is often jammed in July and August. The price is fixed, so traffic changes the time, not what you pay.
- For Herceg Novi the quickest way is the small car ferry across the Verige strait between Lepetane and Kamenari, which runs all day and night; in summer there can be a queue for it.
- Kotor and Budva old towns are closed to cars. Give the driver your hotel's name and they will stop at the nearest gate.

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
