Before you land
The airport
Schiphol is south-west of Amsterdam, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and works as one large terminal: all the halls sit under a single roof around Schiphol Plaza, the central hall with the railway station directly underneath. After baggage reclaim and customs you come out into one of several numbered arrivals halls, depending on your flight, and from there into Schiphol Plaza. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name.
- If you land on the Polderbaan, the runway furthest from the terminal, taxiing to the gate alone can take a while. We track the flight, so the driver knows when you are actually on the ground.
- Schiphol Plaza has an official 'meeting point' sign, currently in the area between the NS train counters and La Place. It is a useful fallback if you cannot find each other.
- The railway station under Schiphol Plaza has trains to Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and Rotterdam around the clock, so the plaza is busy at all hours.

Where do I meet the driver at Schiphol Airport?
In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.
What happens if my flight is late?
We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. One price covers everyone in it, up to the seats of the vehicle you choose.

These are examples: we do not guarantee a particular make or model, but we do guarantee enough seats and enough space for normal luggage.
How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
