Before you land
The airport
Zurich Airport is at Kloten, just north of the city, and its terminal buildings are grouped around the Airport Centre, with the railway station underneath. Arriving passengers come out into one of two arrivals halls, Arrival 1 or Arrival 2, after collecting their bags. Gates E are in a separate building reached by the underground Skymetro, so allow for that if you land there. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall your flight comes into, with your name on a sign.
- There are two arrivals halls, Arrival 1 and Arrival 2. Check which one your flight uses on the airport's arrivals board; the driver follows your flight and waits at the right one.
- Flights parked at Gates E bring you to the main building on the Skymetro train before passport control and baggage reclaim, which adds a little time after landing. Waiting time is free, so there is no need to rush.
- Snow chains are advisable on the Julier Pass in winter and can be required around Davos and Klosters after heavy snow; for mountain resorts, mention ski equipment when you book so the right vehicle is sent.

Where do I meet the driver at Zurich Airport?
In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.
What happens if my flight is late?
We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. One price covers everyone in it, up to the seats of the vehicle you choose.
Which car will I get?

These are examples: we do not guarantee a particular make or model, but we do guarantee enough seats and enough space for normal luggage.
How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
