What is included

The journey

Palermo is the largest barrio of Buenos Aires by area, with several informal subdivisions such as Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood and Las Cañitas. Give the street and number of your hotel or flat rather than just 'Palermo'.

Arriving at Buenos Aires Aeroparque

Aeroparque Jorge Newbery is the city's own airport, beside the Río de la Plata in Palermo, close to downtown. It serves domestic routes and regional South American destinations, while most long-haul international flights use Ezeiza. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with your name.

How long it really takes

Maps says 23 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.

1
Taxi and disembark10–15 min
2
Passport controlNone on domestic flights. 15–45 min on international arrivals.
3
Baggage reclaim10–25 min with hold luggage
4
Finding your driver2–5 min. Your name on a sign.
5
The drive23 min

Realistically, 53 to 98 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.

When to book

Booking early costs the same as booking late — the price does not move. What moves is whether there is a car left.

A week aheadJuly, August, Fridays and Saturdays. The busiest arrivals of the year.
As soon as you have the flightGroups of five or more. Vans and minibuses go first, always.
Two or three daysLanding between 23:00 and 06:00. Fewer drivers are working.
The day before is fineEverything else. The same morning usually works too.

Cancellation is free until 24 hours before, so booking early costs you nothing if the plan changes.

Before you land

Two arrivals areasInternational flights at Aeroparque arrive in their own arrivals terminal, separate from domestic arrivals; passengers from a domestic flight have to cross the airport to reach it. The driver goes to the exit that matches your flight.
Inside the cityUnlike Ezeiza, Aeroparque is inside the city of Buenos Aires itself, in Palermo, close to downtown.
Ferries to Uruguay: two terminalsBuquebus sails from the northern end of Puerto Madero, and Colonia Express from its own terminal on Elvira Rawson de Dellepiane, near Puerto Madero. Check which company your ticket is with.
Northern suburbs via the PanamericanaSan Isidro, Tigre, Nordelta and Pilar are reached through Avenida General Paz and the Panamericana (Acceso Norte), which starts at General Paz and later splits into a Tigre branch and a Pilar branch.

FAQ

How long does it take to get from Buenos Aires Aeroparque Airport to Palermo?

About 23 minutes for the 7.3 km, outside peak traffic. Your driver knows the route and follows the flight, so a delayed landing moves the pick-up rather than costing you the transfer.

How much is a transfer from Buenos Aires Aeroparque Airport to Palermo?

From €51.00 for up to four passengers, and €80.64 for a group of five or six in a van. The price is fixed when you book — tolls and taxes included, nothing added at the end.

What happens if my flight is late?

We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.

Where do I meet the driver at Buenos Aires Aeroparque Airport?

In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.

Is the transfer private or shared?

Private. The vehicle is for your group only: no other passengers and no other stops on the way to Palermo.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. One price covers everyone in it, up to the seats of the vehicle you choose.

Which car will I get?

It depends on the size of your group. Sedan: Skoda Superb, Toyota Camry or similar; Premium Sedan: Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series or similar; Van: Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle or similar; Large Van: Mercedes V-Class, Ford Tourneo or similar; Minibus 12: Mercedes Sprinter or similar · or 2 vans; Minibus 16: Mercedes Sprinter or similar · or 2 vans. These are examples: we do not guarantee a particular make or model, but we do guarantee enough seats and enough space for normal luggage.

How much luggage can I take?

One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.

Can I get a child seat?

Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.

Who will drive me?

A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.

Can I book the return from Palermo to the airport?

Yes. Add the return when you book, or book it on its own later, also at a fixed price. For pick-ups away from the airport the driver waits 15 minutes free from the booked time.

When do I pay?

When you book, or — on many transfers — later: you book without paying, your card is stored securely with Stripe and charged 48 hours before pick-up. You are told the exact amount and date when you book.

Can I contact you before I travel?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp at +1 951 579 7412 — for a price, a change to your booking or anything about the trip — or email support@airportlink.app.
