The journey
From Maceió airport the route runs inland on the AL-105 to Porto Calvo and then the AL-465; a daytime trip is recommended. Natural-pool trips leave only at low tide.
Arriving at Maceió Airport
Maceió Airport is in Rio Largo, in Maceió's metropolitan region, on the BR-104. The hotel beaches of Pajuçara, Ponta Verde and Jatiúca are a proper drive away, and traffic on the way is common. The terminal opened in 2005 and is small.
- Traffic between the beaches and the airport often slows the trip, so leave early for departures.
- Check-in has few counters, so arrive more than an hour before your flight.

One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis, golf clubs, bicycles or an unusual number of bags: tell us in the notes when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent.
Can I get a child seat?
Tell us in the booking notes, with the child's age, and we pass it to the driver. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
Can I book the return from Maragogi to the airport?
Yes. Add the return when you book, or book it on its own later, also at a fixed price. For pick-ups away from the airport the driver waits 15 minutes free from the booked time.
When do I pay?
