The journey

Gaibu and neighbouring Enseada dos Corais are the busiest beaches in Cabo de Santo Agostinho and have most of its pousadas. Enseada dos Corais is reef-protected, with natural pools at low tide.

Arriving at Recife Airport

Recife Airport sits in the Imbiribeira district in the south of the city, right next to Boa Viagem, where most Recife hotels are. It has a single passenger terminal, and arrivals are on the ground floor. Many passengers are heading straight down the south coast to Porto de Galinhas and beyond.

• Arrivals are on the ground floor; departures and check-in are upstairs on the first floor.
• The airport has its own metro station a short covered walk from the terminal, but for luggage and the coast a door-to-door car is simpler.

Can I get a child seat?

Tell us in the booking notes, with the child's age, and we pass it to the driver. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.

Who will drive me?

A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.

Can I book the return from Gaibu & Enseada dos Corais to the airport?
