The journey
The leafy district east of the centre, with the baroque Kadriorg Palace, now an art museum, the KUMU art museum and a quiet park. It is reached without going through the Old Town.
Arriving at Tallinn Airport
Tallinn Airport is on the eastern shore of Lake Ülemiste, just south-east of the city centre — close enough that the trams run straight to the terminal. There is a single passenger terminal. Arrivals from Schengen countries come out on the main floor, while non-Schengen passengers come down from passport control on the upper floor, so allow a little longer if you are flying in from outside the Schengen area. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name.
- One terminal, one arrivals hall: there is no terminal to choose and no confusion about where to meet.
- Non-Schengen flights (from the UK, for example) go through passport control first, which can add time at busy moments. We track the flight, so the driver knows when you have landed.
- The airport is right on the main road to Tartu, so trips south and east of Tallinn do not need to go through the city at all.
How long it really takes
Maps says 13 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.
Realistically, 43 to 88 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.
When to book
Booking early costs the same as booking late — the price does not move. What moves is whether there is a car left.
Cancellation is free until 24 hours before, so booking early costs you nothing if the plan changes.

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
Can I book the return from Kadriorg to the airport?
Yes. Add the return when you book, or book it on its own later, also at a fixed price. For pick-ups away from the airport the driver waits 15 minutes free from the booked time.
When do I pay?
When you book, or — on many transfers — later: you book without paying, your card is stored securely with Stripe and charged 48 hours before pick-up. You are told the exact amount and date when you book.
