The journey
Rouen is west, in Normandy. The old town, with its half-timbered houses and the cathedral Monet painted, is largely pedestrian — the Rue du Gros-Horloge is closed to cars — so the drop-off is at the nearest point the car can reach.
Arriving at Beauvais Airport
Beauvais-Tillé is the low-cost airport north of Paris, used mainly by Ryanair and Wizz Air. It sits right next to the town of Beauvais and a long way from Paris itself, and there is no train at the terminal. The terminal is small; your driver waits in arrivals with your name, after passport control.
