Pau is inland on the A64 toll motorway, facing the Pyrenees. The château where Henri IV was born and the Boulevard des Pyrénées are at the top of the town.
Arriving at Biarritz Airport
Biarritz Pays Basque is on the edge of Biarritz, in Anglet, close to the coast and to Bayonne. The terminal is small, and the driver waits in the arrivals hall after baggage reclaim, with your name on a sign.
- Gare de Biarritz is in La Négresse, away from the town centre. If you are going to the seafront, book Biarritz centre.
- Spain is next door. For San Sebastián, carry your passport or ID card.
