The journey
Brest was rebuilt after the Second World War on a grid, so the centre is straightforward to drive. The Rue de Siam runs from the Place de la Liberté towards the port, with the tram along it.
Arriving at Brest Airport
Brest Bretagne is at Guipavas, north-east of Brest. The terminal is compact, and the driver waits in the arrivals hall after baggage reclaim, with your name on a sign.
