The journey
Cassis is a small port town at the edge of the Calanques. The streets around the harbour are narrow and car access to the port is limited, so the drop-off is at the nearest point, or at your hotel if it has access.
Arriving at Marseille Airport
Marseille Provence is at Marignane, on the shore of the Étang de Berre north-west of Marseille. It is also the airport for Aix-en-Provence and much of Provence. The driver waits in the arrivals hall after baggage reclaim, with your name on a sign.
- Aix-en-Provence TGV station is not in Aix: it is out of town on a plateau. Check which one you need.
- For central Marseille, give the full address — the Vieux-Port, Le Panier and the Corniche are different drop-offs.
