What is included

The journey

The Zona Rosa is part of Colonia Juárez, bordered to the north by Paseo de la Reforma. It is one of the city's main shopping and nightclub areas, with many restaurants and hotels.

Arriving at Mexico City Airport

Mexico City International Airport (AICM) is in Venustiano Carranza, in the east of the capital. It has two terminals: Terminal 2 is the main hub for Aeroméxico and its SkyTeam partners, and Terminal 1 serves most other airlines. Arrivals are on the ground floor of each terminal; after customs your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with your name.

How long it really takes

Maps says 26 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.

1
Taxi and disembark10–15 min
2
Passport controlNone on domestic flights. 15–45 min on international arrivals.
3

4

The drive26 min

Realistically, 56 to 101 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.

When to book

Booking early costs the same as booking late — the price does not move. What moves is whether there is a car left.

A week aheadJuly, August, Fridays and Saturdays. The busiest arrivals of the year.
As soon as you have the flightGroups of five or more. Vans and minibuses go first, always.
Two or three daysLanding between 23:00 and 06:00. Fewer drivers are working.
The day before is fineEverything else. The same morning usually works too.

Cancellation is free until 24 hours before, so booking early costs you nothing if the plan changes.

Before you land

Two terminalsTerminal 2 serves Aeroméxico, Aeroméxico Connect and Delta. Terminal 1 serves most other airlines, including Volaris, Viva, United, American, Air Canada and the European carriers. Airlines can change terminals, so check with yours.
A second airport to the northFelipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) is a separate airport at Santa Lucía, in the State of Mexico, north of the city. Several Mexican airlines fly from both, so check which airport your flight uses.
Metro and MetrobúsTerminal Aérea station on Metro Line 5 is a short walk from Terminal 1, and Metrobús Line 4 serves the terminals. The metro is not suited to heavy luggage.
Works in progressBoth terminals are being renovated in phases, so some entrances and walkways may be closed or moved.

FAQ

How long does it take to get from Mexico City Airport to Juárez and Zona Rosa?

About 26 minutes for the 14.8 km, outside peak traffic. Your driver knows the route and follows the flight, so a delayed landing moves the pick-up rather than costing you the transfer.

How much is a transfer from Mexico City Airport to Juárez and Zona Rosa?

From €43.48 for up to four passengers, and €60.55 for a group of five or six in a van. The price is fixed when you book — tolls and taxes included, nothing added at the end.

What happens if my flight is late?

We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.

Where do I meet the driver at Mexico City Airport?

In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.

Is the transfer private or shared?

Private. The vehicle is for your group only: no other passengers and no other stops on the way to Juárez and Zona Rosa.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

Per vehicle. One price covers everyone in it, up to the seats of the vehicle you choose.

Which car will I get?

It depends on the size of your group. Sedan: Skoda Superb, Toyota Camry or similar; Premium Sedan: Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series or similar; Van: Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle or similar; Large Van: Mercedes V-Class, Ford Tourneo or similar; Minibus 12: Mercedes Sprinter or similar · or 2 vans; Minibus 16: Mercedes Sprinter or similar · or 2 vans. These are examples: we do not guarantee a particular make or model, but we do guarantee enough seats and enough space for normal luggage.

How much luggage can I take?

One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.

Can I get a child seat?

Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.

Who will drive me?

A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.

Can I book the return from Juárez and Zona Rosa to the airport?

Yes. Add the return when you book, or book it on its own later, also at a fixed price. For pick-ups away from the airport the driver waits 15 minutes free from the booked time.

When do I pay?

When you book, or — on many transfers — later: you book without paying, your card is stored securely with Stripe and charged 48 hours before pick-up. You are told the exact amount and date when you book.

Can I contact you before I travel?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp at +1 951 579 7412 — for a price, a change to your booking or anything about the trip — or email support@airportlink.app.
