The journey
Fifteen kilometres north on the C-32 and Gran Via, about twenty-five minutes. Barcelona's low-emission zone covers the whole city and operates on weekdays — our licensed vehicles are cleared to enter. Give the street and number, since the Eixample blocks look identical from a car.
Arriving at Barcelona Airport
El Prat has two terminals four kilometres apart, linked by a free shuttle. T1 handles most long-haul and Vueling; T2 takes many low-cost carriers. The airport sits fifteen kilometres south of the city on the C-32, and the same road runs on to Sitges in the other direction.
- T1 and T2 are 4 km apart with a shuttle between them. Check your terminal before you travel — walking between them is not possible.
- The C-32 towards Sitges is a toll road. Our price includes the toll; a metered taxi adds it at the end.
How long it really takes
Maps says 23 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.
Realistically, 53 to 98 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.
When to book
Booking early costs the same as booking late — the price does not move. What moves is whether there is a car left.
Cancellation is free until 24 hours before, so booking early costs you nothing if the plan changes.

Where do I meet the driver at Barcelona Airport?
In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.
Can I cancel?

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
Can I book the return from Barcelona city centre to the airport?
Yes. Add the return when you book, or book it on its own later, also at a fixed price. For pick-ups away from the airport the driver waits 15 minutes free from the booked time.
When do I pay?
When you book, or — on many transfers — later: you book without paying, your card is stored securely with Stripe and charged 48 hours before pick-up. You are told the exact amount and date when you book.
