The airport
Linz Airport is at Hörsching, south-west of Linz, between the city and Wels. It is a small airport with one terminal, and you come out of baggage reclaim into a single arrival hall with a café and shop; taxis wait just outside. Scheduled flights are few: a handful of Ryanair routes, Frankfurt with DAT, and seasonal holiday flights. Your driver waits in the arrival hall with your name.
- There is one terminal and one arrival hall, so there is only one place to meet.
- The airport is open from 05:30 to 23:00 on weekdays and from 06:00 at weekends, so a late-evening arrival is the last of the day; if your flight is delayed, we track it and the driver waits.
- The free shuttle to Hörsching railway station only connects with local trains. For Steyr, Gmunden or the Salzkammergut, a car straight to the door avoids changing.

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
