The airport
Constanța's airport is not in the city but in the commune of Mihail Kogălniceanu, inland to the north-north-west, and it shares the airfield with a Romanian Air Force base. A new passenger terminal opened in March 2026. Year-round scheduled flights are few, and much of the traffic is summer charters for the Black Sea resorts. Your driver waits in the arrivals area of the terminal with your name on a sign.
- Most flights here are seasonal, so in summer the terminal can be busy when several charters land together. The driver tracks your flight and waits.
- The airport is well inland, so every beach resort is a proper drive away, not a hop. For resorts south of Constanța the route uses the A4 bypass rather than going through the city.
- In high summer the coast road south of Constanța (DN39) is often congested, especially around Eforie and Agigea.

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.
Can I get a child seat?
Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
