Parque das Aves is across the road from the national park entrance, so many visitors combine the two in one day. Entry is between 8:30 and 16:30.

Arriving at Foz do Iguaçu Airport

Foz do Iguaçu airport is much closer to the Iguaçu National Park entrance than to the city centre, so the falls and the Avenida das Cataratas resorts are short transfers. Car-rental desks are in the arrivals area. Passengers may have their bags checked by Brazil's Receita Federal before leaving the terminal.

• Carry your passport on any trip to Argentina or Paraguay; Brazilians can use an RG issued within the last ten years. Documents are checked at the border.
• Hotels further out on Avenida das Cataratas can be hard to reach by ride-hailing app, so arrange your transfer before you land.

One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis, golf clubs, bicycles or an unusual number of bags: tell us in the notes when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent.

Can I get a child seat?

Tell us in the booking notes, with the child's age, and we pass it to the driver. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.

Who will drive me?

A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.

Can I book the return from Parque das Aves to the airport?

Yes. Add the return when you book, or book it on its own later, also at a fixed price. For pick-ups away from the airport the driver waits 15 minutes free from the booked time.

When do I pay?
