Before you land
The airport
Foz do Iguaçu airport is much closer to the Iguaçu National Park entrance than to the city centre, so the falls and the Avenida das Cataratas resorts are short transfers. Car-rental desks are in the arrivals area. Passengers may have their bags checked by Brazil's Receita Federal before leaving the terminal.
- Carry your passport on any trip to Argentina or Paraguay; Brazilians can use an RG issued within the last ten years. Documents are checked at the border.
- Hotels further out on Avenida das Cataratas can be hard to reach by ride-hailing app, so arrange your transfer before you land.

Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
