The airport
Afonso Pena serves Curitiba, but it is in the neighbouring municipality of São José dos Pinhais, south-east of the city centre. It handles domestic and international flights and has been run by Motiva since 2022. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall.
- Fog is common at Afonso Pena in autumn and winter, usually in the early morning, and it can delay flights. Give us your flight number so the pickup follows the real landing time.
- The airport is in São José dos Pinhais, so the coast and Joinville are reached without crossing Curitiba.
FAQ
How much is a transfer from Curitiba Airport?
From R$137.30, to Curitiba city centre (18.3 km, about 33 min). That is the price of the whole vehicle, tolls and taxes included. The table on this page has the price of every destination by vehicle.
Where do I meet the driver at Curitiba Airport?
In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.
What happens if my flight is late?
We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. One price covers everyone in it, up to the seats of the vehicle you choose.
Which car will I get?
It depends on the size of your group. Sedan: Skoda Superb, Toyota Camry or similar; Premium Sedan: Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series or similar; Van: Mercedes Vito, VW Caravelle or similar; Large Van: Mercedes V-Class, Ford Tourneo or similar; Minibus 12: Mercedes Sprinter or similar · or 2 vans; Minibus 16: Mercedes Sprinter or similar · or 2 vans. These are examples: we do not guarantee a particular make or model, but we do guarantee enough seats and enough space for normal luggage.
How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis, golf clubs, bicycles or an unusual number of bags: tell us in the notes when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent.
Can I get a child seat?
Tell us in the booking notes, with the child's age, and we pass it to the driver. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
Do you go to addresses that are not on this list?
Yes. Enter the address in the calculator on this page and you have the fixed price in seconds, anywhere our partners cover from the airport.
