Before you land
The airport
Eduardo Gomes is the air gateway to the Amazon, with direct domestic flights from across Brazil and international flights from Bogotá, Panama City and, seasonally, Miami. Most visitors head to the historic centre around the Teatro Amazonas, to Adrianópolis and Vieiralves, or to Ponta Negra on the Rio Negro. The meeting point is the arrivals exit.
- Manaus is one hour behind Brasília time — check your connection times and pickup time in local time.
- Traffic is heaviest at the start and end of the working day, which matters for transfers to Ponta Negra and the centre.

Where do I meet the driver at Manaus Airport?

How much luggage can I take?
One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis, golf clubs, bicycles or an unusual number of bags: tell us in the notes when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent.
Can I get a child seat?
Tell us in the booking notes, with the child's age, and we pass it to the driver. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
Who will drive me?
A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
