The journey
Lille Europe is the station for Eurostar to London and Brussels and for most TGVs. It stands next to the Euralille shopping centre, a short walk from Lille Flandres — check which of the two is on your ticket.
Arriving at Lille Airport
Lille Airport is at Lesquin, south-east of Lille. The terminal is compact, and the driver waits in the arrivals hall after baggage reclaim, with your name on a sign.
- Lille has two main stations side by side: Lille Europe for Eurostar and most TGVs, Lille Flandres for regional trains and some TGVs to Paris. Check your ticket.
- On the first weekend of September the Braderie closes the city centre to traffic.
How long it really takes
Maps says 12 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.
Realistically, 42 to 87 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.
When to book
