The journey
Menton is the last French town before Italy, beyond Monaco. The old town climbs the hill above the port in steep lanes, so the drop-off is at the nearest street. In February the Fête du Citron closes parts of the centre.
Arriving at Nice Airport
Nice Côte d'Azur is on the seafront at the western end of the Promenade des Anglais, close to the city. It has two terminals, 1 and 2, linked by a free shuttle. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal, after baggage reclaim, with your name on a sign.
