What is included

The journey

A hundred and sixty-three kilometres east on the A4, close to two hours. Long, and the train is often quicker — but for an opera night at the Arena that ends near midnight, a car waiting is worth more than the time saved.

Arriving at Milan Malpensa Airport

Malpensa is fifty kilometres north-west of Milan, which surprises people who booked it thinking it was the city airport. Terminal 1 takes long-haul and most international flights; Terminal 2 is low-cost, and the two are four kilometres apart.

How long it really takes

Maps says 110 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.

1
Taxi and disembark10–15 min
2
Passport controlNone inside Schengen. 15–45 min from outside it.
3
Baggage reclaim10–25 min with hold luggage
4
Finding your driver2–5 min. Your name on a sign.
5
The drive110 min

Realistically, 140 to 185 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.

When to book

Booking early costs the same as booking late — the price does not move. What moves is whether there is a car left.

A week aheadJuly, August, Fridays and Saturdays. The busiest arrivals of the year, and a long run like this one is the first to run out.
As soon as you have the flightGroups of five or more. Vans and minibuses go first, always.
Two or three daysLanding between 23:00 and 06:00. Fewer drivers are working.
The day before is fineEverything else. The same morning usually works too.

Cancellation is free until 24 hours before, so booking early costs you nothing if the plan changes.

Before you land

It is not the Milan airport people expectFifty kilometres and fifty minutes on a clear road. Linate is the one eight kilometres from the centre. If your meeting is at nine and you land at eight at Malpensa, the arithmetic does not work — plan for it.
The lakes are closer than the cityComo is fifty kilometres, Stresa on Lake Maggiore is forty. If the lakes are why you are coming, Malpensa is the right airport and the transfer is shorter than the one into Milan.
Fashion week and the SaloneTwice a year the city fills and the taxi queues at Malpensa run to an hour. Those are the weeks when a booked car matters most, and the weeks when they get booked first.

FAQ

How long does it take to get from Milan Airport to Verona?

About 110 minutes for the 163 km, outside peak traffic. Your driver knows the route and follows the flight, so a delayed landing moves the pick-up rather than costing you the transfer.

How much is a transfer from Milan Airport to Verona?

From €320 for up to four passengers, and €417 for a group of five to eight in a van. The price is fixed when you book — tolls and taxes included, nothing added at the end.

What happens if my flight is late?

We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.

Where do I meet the driver at Milan Airport?

In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full and automatically. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
