The journey
Thirty-five kilometres west, thirty-five minutes. Sirmione is on a spit of land reaching into Lake Garda, and the old town at the end is closed to traffic. The drop-off is at the castle bridge.
Arriving at Verona Airport
Villafranca is twelve kilometres from Verona and twenty from the southern shore of Lake Garda. In opera season the city fills for two months and the airport with it.
