Olaya Herrera is Medellín's city airport, in the city itself rather than out at Rionegro. It handles regional and domestic flights on smaller aircraft, and was declared a national monument in 1995. Your driver meets you as you come out of arrivals and waits with your name.

• Commercial flights here use aircraft of up to 50 passengers, except Satena's larger Embraer 170. Tell us about large or extra bags when you book, so we send a suitable car.
• Terminal Sur, the bus station for routes south, is a couple of blocks from the airport.

How much luggage can I take?

One suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per passenger is included. Skis or a snowboard, a golf bag, a surfboard or a bicycle: add them when you book, so a vehicle with room for them is sent (there is a small charge, shown before you pay). An unusual number of ordinary bags: tell us in the notes.

Can I get a child seat?

Yes. Choose it when you book: infant seat (0–12 months), child seat (1–4 years) or booster seat (4–12 years). There is a small charge per seat, shown before you pay. Where the law requires a child seat, travelling without one is not possible.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.

Who will drive me?

A licensed local transport company that works with Airportlink. We check its operating licence and insurance before it can take bookings, and again when they expire. The day before, you receive the driver's name, phone number and vehicle.
