The journey
Part-Dieu is Lyon's main station and business district, on the east bank of the Rhône. It is the first part of the city you reach from the airport. The station has entrances on two sides, Villette and Vivier-Merle, so tell the driver which one you need.
Arriving at Lyon Airport
Lyon Saint-Exupéry is east of Lyon, with its own TGV station, designed by Santiago Calatrava, next to the terminals. It serves the city and is also a gateway to the Alps. The driver waits in the arrivals hall after baggage reclaim, with your name on a sign.
