Price your transfer
What is included
- A private vehicle for your group. No sharing, no other stops.
- A fixed price with tolls and taxes in. Nothing is added at the end.
- Flight tracking. Land late and the pick-up moves, not the price.
- 60 minutes of free waiting after the flight lands.
- Free cancellation until 24 hours before pick-up.
- One suitcase and one bag per passenger. More than that, tell us when you book.
The journey
Eight kilometres south along the coast, fifteen minutes. Ostia Antica — the Roman port ruins — is a separate stop from Ostia Lido, the beach town. Say which one you mean when you book; they are four kilometres apart and the drivers know the difference.
Arriving at Rome Fiumicino Airport
Fiumicino sits thirty kilometres from the centre, on the coast. Terminal 3 handles almost all international arrivals, and the walk from the far gates to the taxi rank is longer than most people expect — allow twenty minutes from wheels down to the kerb.
- Terminal 3 for international arrivals, Terminal 1 for Italian and short-haul Schengen. The two are ten minutes apart on foot.
- The taxi fare to the centre is fixed by the city at €55, but that covers the historic centre only. Anywhere outside the Aurelian walls and the meter starts again.
- The Leonardo Express runs to Termini in thirty-two minutes. It is fast, but Termini is not where most hotels are, and the second leg with luggage is the part nobody plans for.
How long it really takes
Maps says 15 minutes. That is the driving. Door to door from the moment you land is a different number, and it is the one worth planning around.
Realistically, 45 to 90 minutes after landing. If someone is waiting for you, that is the number to give them.
When to book
Booking early costs the same as booking late — the price does not move. What moves is whether there is a car left.
Cancellation is free until 24 hours before, so booking early costs you nothing if the plan changes.

FAQ
How long does it take to get from Rome Airport to Ostia?
About 15 minutes for the 8 km, outside peak traffic. Your driver knows the route and follows the flight, so a delayed landing moves the pick-up rather than costing you the transfer.
How much is a transfer from Rome Airport to Ostia?
From €58 for up to four passengers, and €76 for a group of five to eight in a van. The price is fixed when you book — tolls and taxes included, nothing added at the end.
What happens if my flight is late?
We track the flight number you give us. The driver waits and adjusts to the actual landing time, with 60 minutes of free waiting after the plane touches down.
Where do I meet the driver at Rome Airport?
In the arrivals hall after you clear customs. The day before your trip we send you the driver's name, phone number and vehicle, and they contact you with the exact spot.
Can I cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before pick-up, refunded in full and automatically. On many routes you can also book without paying and we only charge the card 48 hours before you travel.
