The airport

Alicante–Elche is the gateway to the Costa Blanca, and most arrivals head north to Benidorm or south to Torrevieja. One terminal, arrivals on the ground floor, and the AP-7 running the length of the coast in both directions.

• Benidorm is 55 km north and Torrevieja 45 km south — opposite directions from the same terminal.
• Summer Saturday arrivals are heavy. The hall is large but the taxi queue is not.
